English Translation of the Birth Record of Christopher Darmstadt
| On March 28, 1849, at 7 PM, Heinrich Darmstadt, age 42, a working man living in Nackenheim, came to me, Mayor Simon Zimmermann, and to the Clerk of Nackenheim, and declared that on March 27, 1849, at 11pm, in the house at #18 Rosengasse [Nackenheim], Appolonia Traut, age 42, without profession, wife of Heinrich Darmstadt, living in Nackenheim, gave birth to a male child who received the name of Christoph. This declaration was made in the presence of witnesses Karl Becker, laborer, 45, Nackenheim, and Paul Wucher, laborer 37, Nackenheim who signed this record with me after I read it to them. |
